Our goal this year is to raise $100 each day of the 12 Days of Giving thats

10 friends giving $10 each
5 neighbours giving $20 each
4 families giving $25 each
2 businesses giving $50 each
1 donation of $100

We came up with some ways to make it more fun. 

Host a Holiday Gathering – It’s that time of year when we gather with friends and family. Ask your guest to bring a $5 or $10 donation instead of a hostess gift.

Last Hour Pay – Ask your colleagues if they would donate their last hour of pay before Christmas

Return Bottles – Drop off your empty bottles at the Spryfield Enviro Depot and ask to have the money put in the Chebucto Connections account.

Poker Tournament – Host a poker game, a small sum of the money you invest in the game is taken by the host to be donated. The rest of the money would then go toward the pot, which any player is able to win.

Gift a donation – For the person that has everything. Make a cash donation in honor of someone and we will send them a card letting them know.

Holiday Carols -Singing Holiday carols to raise funds for charity and spread the Holiday cheer is a long-standing tradition.

Host a Cooking Class – Anyone can plan this (you don’t have to be a chef) You could hold a vegan menu for the holidays, or anything you’d like to lead. Each person pays a small fee to be involved.
