Outreach Services

Housing is the Cornerstone for Individuals and Families to Thrive

Our Team

Our outreach support team collaborates closely with individuals and families to help them navigate often complicated systems. We connect them with community resources, assist with grant and rental applications, and provide financial literacy workshops. Our commitment is to support our clients at every stage of their journey. Our approach is holistic, considering not just the immediate needs but also the long-term well-being and growth of our community members.

Housing Support

Through various donations and government funding, we offer services aimed at fostering positive relationships between landlords and clients. Our support includes advocacy, assistance with housing paperwork, securing housing resources, and maintaining tenancy once clients are housed. Our ultimate goal is to ensure safe and secure housing. Our outreach team can provide consultations on housing options, tenancy-related matters, and eviction issues. Additionally, Case Managers work with clients who may require extended assistance. They guide clients in setting and achieving goals, acquiring new skills, and making healthy choices.

Intimate Partner Violence Housing Support

Experiencing partner violence can be frightening and isolating, particularly in the midst of a housing crisis.

We are here to assist you and your family with:

  • Guidance in applying for the provincial rent supplement program before you leave.
  • Support in finding and navigating community resources.
  • Assistance in requesting domestic violence leave from your employer.
  • Help with housing searches, applications, rent supplements, and provincial public housing.
