Coming Home – Sally Wilson

We are pleased to announce that Renowned Artist Sally Wilson has found her way to Nova Scotia.

Sally Wilson is widely known for her bold formed abstract works throughout North America with an extensive client base in California where she exhibited for 3 yrs., including a sold out Exhibit at Oprah Winfreys Art Café in San Luis Obispo.  Her works have been published in art magazines including Architectural Digest. She eventually returned to Ontario to her own Studio Gallery in Muskoka and continued Exhibiting in Canada  for over 25 yrs.

She is well known for her contributions through her art to collaborate with Non-Profit Groups always focusing on encouraging the creativity of our young people.

Upon her permanent move to her beloved Nova Scotia Ocean, affectionately known to her as “her majesty” she became involved with Chebucto Connections and our work here in Spryfield.  This led to a collaboration to have her first Nova Scotia Exhibit with us.

In preparation for this Exhibit, that she  lovingly calls “ Coming Home” Sally has made residents on the second floor of  Chebucto Connections as our “Artist in Residence”…Sally has not only brighten up our space with her beautiful art she has also been an inspiration to the community.

Sally Wilson will be exhibiting a large collection of her new works which are evocative, bold and colourful on Oct 3, 2019 6pm – 9pm @ 531 Herring Cove Rd.
